Dr Okafo Okoreaffia is a Chief Lecturer with the Federal   Polytechnic Nekede Owerri, where he earlier held the position of HOD of the department of Cooperative Economics and Management, and is presently the Dean of Student Affairs.

He was also a member of the recently dissolved 14th Governing Council where he represented the Academic Board.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Co-operative   Professionals of   Nigeria (ICOPRON); the National Chairman of the ICOPRON Professional Examination Board; and a member of the Technical Advisory Group of TETFUND.

Dr Okoreaffia is from Amakofia Ututu in Arochukwu LGA of Abia state where he has also been the Local Government Transition Committee Chairman for Arochukwu.

A Jerusalem Pilgrim and a Justice of the Peace, Dr Okoreaffia holds several chieftaincy titles including osisioma na-ami nkpuru oma.
